Practice Part-time Dispenser Required


We have an exciting opportunity, within our developing and successful dispensary, for someone to train as a dispenser. The successful applicant will need to be enthusiastic, and self-motivated in order to learn the skills required for this post. In addition, you must be quality driven with attention to detail and a commitment to complete work to the required standards following dispensary Standard Operating Procedures and practice policies..

You must have a willingness to deliver excellence in customer service and be able to communicate effectively with different groups of people and members of the public.

Whilst previous experience in dispensing is a desirable criteria for this post, it is not essential as we will provide complete training in dispensary knowledge and skills.

You will also need to be confident in the use of computers for administration and recording purposes.  

The successful candidate will also undertake an NVQ 2 in pharmacy services if not already gained.

Variable shifts between 8am and 8pm

The Roxton practice are looking to employ a part-time Receptionist to work between our Immingham and Grimsby sites.

The successful candidate will have a fixed shift pattern however applicants should also be extremely flexible with time to cover varied shifts, Monday to Friday, 8am to 8pm to cover sickness and holidays.

Previous experience in a similar role is desirable but not essential.

This is a very busy practice serving a large and varied population therefore can be extremely challenging. Applicants should be approachable, friendly and able to demonstrate excellent communication and telephone skills.

You will be challenged on a daily basis so will need to remain calm and professional in difficult situations. You will be committed delivering excellent customer service, have an understanding and sensitive nature to all our patient’s requirements.

You will be part of a large Front of House team that support and encourage each other on reception and in a call centre environment.

You must be computer literate and educated to English GCSE C or above. You should have the ability to record and relay information accurately and confidentially.

Training is an essential part of the development for this role and therefore applicants must be pro-active and enthusiastic.

We are a large team and therefore cover lots of staff leave. Please do not apply if you are unable to be flexible with your time.
