Service Times
Our telephone lines are open Monday to Friday from 08:00 to 18:30, our new telephone system which will be live from April 15th 2024 will allow patients to get a callback without waiting in the queue. We hope it will also resolve issues with the line engaged tone.
The online appointment system, askmyGP is available Monday to Friday from 8am until 2pm. Click below to check service times as they may vary around public holidays.

The Roxton Practice are always looking at ways to improve our systems. We are aware of continuing issues accessing appointments using askmyGP and phonelines.
From 15th April, we are introducing the following.
- AskmyGP will be open from 8am to 2pm
- A new telephone system which allows patients to get a callback without waiting in the queue. We hope it will also resolve issues with the line engaged tone.
We are hoping both these measures will make it easier for patients to access the help you need.
All requests for an appointment will be reviewed by a doctor and the most appropriate appointment made.
Appointments will be available the same day (if clinically appropriate) or pre-bookable (depending on availability).
The more information you give us, the more likely the most suitable appointment or advice is given.
We hope this will significantly improve our services and will continue to monitor and improve our services for you.

Training Afternoons
On the third Thursday of every month, the practice, along with all other practices in the area, will close from 1pm for training afternoon.
AskMyGp will be open from 7:30am as usual and phone lines at 8am, however once we have met capacity for that day you will require to call 01472 256256 if you have an urgent medical concern from 1pm.
