Order Prescriptions

How to order repeat / regular prescriptions:

All prescriptions are issued by a dedicated Pharmacy Team and cannot be ordered over the phone by the Care Navigation Team.

PATIENT PARTNER

This is an automated service, which is available 24/7, allowing you to order your prescription at any time.

Call the surgery on 01469 572058, where you will hear a message advising you to “Press 1” for the automated service.

This service will then ask for your date of birth, your mobile number and a pin number*.

*You must call the surgery before using this service to register a pin number

This pin number will be chosen by you, but you MUST call the surgery first, to allow our Care Navigators to register your chosen pin number.

This service is only available to those who order REPEAT PRESCRIPTIONS

Attending the Practice

Fill in the repeat slip from your previous prescription or pick up a form at the practice. Once you have completed the form, you can post it into the box provided for requests at reception.

The box is emptied periodically throughout the day.

All repeat prescriptions will be made available 48 working hours after the order is placed. If the medication you have requested is not on your repeat list, please ensure this is ordered well in advance up to 7 days before as these requests can take longer then the standard 48 working hours period.

Where to find us

SYSTEM ONLINE

You can order your repeat prescriptions through SystmOnline*, a 24-hour online service. If you have not used this system before, you will need to obtain a username and password from the surgery.

Prescriptions for patient’s travelling out of the country

By law, the NHS ceases to have responsibility for the medical care of patients when they leave the UK. People traveling within Europe are advised to carry an authorised European Health Insurance Card (EHIC) at all times and this gives entitlement to reduced cost (and sometimes free) medical treatment. Patients should be advised to check specific entitlements prior to travel: Click here to view entitlements
